The three rules

  2. Never skip two days in a row. Miss two and the Reset restarts at day 1.
  3. Breathe slowly, always. If you can't control your breath, get out. That's the safety rule.

The breath (use it every day)

Two short inhales through the nose, stacked. One long, slow exhale through the mouth. Repeat three times before the cold, and any time the water gets loud.

After day 7: your maintenance dose is about 11 minutes of cold per week, split over 3 to 4 sessions.

Healthy adults only. Heart condition, pregnancy or medical advice against cold exposure means sit this out. Never breath-hold in water.
