Seven days of cold. A different person on the other side.

What the seven days look like.
The 30-second rule
Why everything unpleasant about cold is front-loaded, and the reframe that wins the opening 30 seconds.
Breathe before you freeze
The Stanford-tested breathing pattern that switches off panic on command. Useful far beyond the shower.
The 250% payoff
What cold water measurably does to dopamine and noradrenaline, and why the lift lasts for hours.
The ceiling
The honest limits of a cold shower, and the ice bowl test that lets you feel real immersion temperature.
Run it hot
Contrast therapy: what heat does that cold can't, and your first hot-to-cold round.
Make it permanent
The two habit-design principles that decide whether this survives past Sunday.
Graduation
Your longest exposure, your maintenance dose for life, and something we only give to finishers.
WHY IT WORKS
This isn't a trend. It's measured physiology.
+250%

+530%
Noradrenaline, the focus and alertness chemical

Every claim in the program is cited to the study it comes from. You'll read the research alongside the reps. This is a challenge, not medical advice: if you have a heart condition or are pregnant, talk to your doctor first.
This is for you if
- You want more energy without another supplement or app subscription
- You can commit to two minutes a day for seven days
- You'd rather be coached through the science than guess from podcasts
Skip it if
- You want a hack that works without doing anything
- You have a heart condition, are pregnant, or your doctor has warned you off cold exposure
- You already run a daily immersion practice, you're past this
We built Norva because recovery had become something you book, drive to and pay for by the hour. It should be a ritual you own. The Reset is the free version of that belief: seven days to prove to yourself that the switch is real. What you do after that is up to you.

The honest answers, including whether you need to buy anything. (You don't.)
Is it really free?
Completely. The Reset is our way of proving the practice works before you ever consider our gear. No credit card, no trial that converts, no catch. You can unsubscribe at any point with one click.
Do I need an ice bath to do the challenge?
No. The whole program runs on a normal shower. On day 4 we're honest about where showers plateau and what real immersion adds, but you can finish all 7 days, and keep the habit for life, with nothing but your bathroom.
How cold and how long are we talking?
Day 1 is 30 seconds at whatever your tap gives you. By day 7 you'll be at about 3 minutes. The progression is gradual on purpose: consistency beats heroics, and the coaching emails walk you through every step.
Is cold exposure safe for me?
For most healthy adults, short cold showers are low risk. If you have a heart condition, are pregnant, or have been advised against cold exposure by a doctor, sit this one out or get cleared first. Never do breath holds in water, and stop if you can't control your breathing.
What happens after the 7 days?
You graduate with a maintenance protocol, a self-assessment, and a graduate-only reward we keep for finishers. After that you'll hear from us once a week in The Recovery Journal, our column on the science of hot and cold. Unsubscribe whenever you like.
